This Browning, Model 1895 is a Grade 1, chambered in 30-06, it has a 24” round barrel, buckhorn rear sight, and a bead front It has a nicely figured walnut straight grip stock and fore stock. The action, barrel, lever and butt plate are dark blued finish. The Model 1895 rifle features a fixed boxed magazine.

In 1994 Browning/Miroku made 10,000 1895s in 30-06 and 30-40 Krag. About 6000 Grade I models were in 30-06. These rifles are exact reproductions of the Winchester 1895. This design was the last lever action that John Browning did for Winchester.

Condition:
The overall condition of this rifle is excellent it was evidently used lightly and well taken care of. The finish on the stocks shows some very minor handling marks from use and storage. The blued finish of the metal is in fine condition. The bore is in excellent, minty condition. This rifle cycles fine and is in mechanically excellent condition and ready for use. This rifle comes a matching factory box and manual which are in fine condition.
